  • The NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety is suitable for any managers, supervisors and employees that have input with daily H&S decision making. This course will equip individuals with a broad understanding of health and safety issues and the ability to manage risk effectively.

    • Element 1 : Why we should manage workplace health and safety
    • Element 2 : How health and safety management systems work and what they look like

    NG 2 - Risk Assessment

    • Element 5 : Physical and psychological health

    Entry Requirements

    IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent is recommended, although not essential. Delegates without any previous health and safety knowledge are eligible to attend the course. A minimum standard of English is required to undertake this qualification.

    Assessment & Certification

    The updated NEBOSH National General Certificate course now consists of two assessments: NG1 and NG2.

    • NG1 includes an open book exam
    • NG2 is a practical risk assessment carried out at your premises
