Course Content Information

At Opus Safety we can deliver a range of Food Safety courses geared to different industries and at varied levels.

Who should attend?

Anyone within your organisation that is a nominated Emergency First Aider.

Course content

This course is carried out over 1 day and includes:
• First aid regulations
• Managing an incident
• The priorities of first aid
• Treatment of an unconscious casualty
• Resuscitation
• Shock / Choking / Seizures / Bleeding
• Common workplace injuries

Assessment & certification

Delegates will be continuously monitored during the day and complete a multiple-choice assessment. Each successful delegate will receive a certificate that will be valid for 3 years and must be renewed if you wish to continue to act as a first aider in the workplace. Annual refresher training is recommended.

In-house training
