This December, Opus Safety is proud to continue our support of the incredible KidsOut charity.
So far in 2025, we’ve tackled the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge and taken on the epic Pavestone Rally to help KidsOut provide day trips, experiences, books, and toys to some of the UK’s most vulnerable and disadvantaged children.
For the festive season, we’re taking part in #TheOriginalGivingTree initiative.
The Giving Tree outshines the traditional office Secret Santa, encouraging businesses to buy a toy for a child who may go without at Christmastime.
Last year, the project gifted 51,070 brand-new toys to children who had fled domestic abuse and live in refuge, plus a further 22,199 toys to disadvantaged children who have life-limiting disabilities, are carers, or are affected by economic hardship.
How it works
Showing our support was simple. We signed up online and received a range of children’s gift requests. Each ‘tag’ included the name of a child and their gift wish from Father Christmas. While the names are fictional to protect the children’s identities, the requests are real.
From there, we visited KidsOut’s online Giving Tree Fun & Happiness Shop – and stocked up on presents for KidsOut’s magical Christmas toy boxes.
Join in the giving!
KidsOut is the fun and happiness charity, working with Women’s Aid, partner charities, and corporate supporters to provide vulnerable and disadvantaged children with positive and happy experiences.
